beautiful days

Nanuod ako ng Party Pilipinas kanina,one of the rare moments na nakakanuod ako ng tv,napanuod ko si Kyla,kumakanta. I'm a big fan of Kyla,her voice is so unique,I liked her performance today.Today she cried.
She got engaged to her long time boyfriend,a basketball star.She sang Beautiful Days.She cried,I totally understand the feeling of getting engaged,it's momentous!I could tell that she's in love,the tears were clear indications that this is another match made in heaven.

I could relate really as she faced her fiance and she told him: I love you so much..that's what I felt too and still feeling now.It was a great feeling really,getting engaged and all. Feeling someone loves you that much and had plans to be with you for the rest of their lives is special.A leap of faith.Faith that only love understands and only love knows.That whatever the future brings,you'll face it tomorrow,together.I know that I'm being idealistic,you might say I'm just feeling the moment,but then again,love is faith!and now that there's someone who's willing to take that big faith with me who am I to say no?

kudos to 2011

Goodbye 2010.
Thanks for all the memories.Some I will keep in my heart,especially the best memories,the bad ones of course Im leaving behind.Goodbye 2010. Im leaving yesterday behind whether I like it or not.

Moving forward, I've got a feeling that 2011 will be a better year for me. I've plans of getting fit (not sexy,not thin -  just healthy hehehe) by running/ jogging after shift,thanks to a nice new sked by Feb this year 6pm to 3am Sat-Sun off. I also have plans of quitting smoking too...errr...I'll try my best, I really will.

Out with the old, old crushes, old feelings, but not with old friends. Speaking of friends, I would like to mention a few and acknowledge the wonders they created in my life.

Baguio Days:

Lorna Tolentino - yes!she's named after the beautiful actress,why,she's a charmer as well!Had been with me the longest,from my college years until now. Lorna comes home once in a while,will call once in a while and those once-in-a-while moments are highly appreciated.Most of the time we see each other at least a day or two before she leaves,what can I say,we are both busy,had always been busy!There were times when we don't see each other at all even if she came all the way from Japan!nonetheless,we were the best of friends and distance was never an issue between us. Thank you.

Unison of United Methodist Church Baguio City
United in the Son - singing had always been a passion of mine,all the more when Im singing with these guys!It is a blessing.It is pure joy to sing for the Lord,and Im not just singing for the Lord,Im singing with the BEST!This year,we were united after almost 10 years just to sing for our mutual friend's wedding and we can't help but sing at church service as well.The experience is exhilirating!It was so moving.Thank you for the fellowship!

Hokei Friends:
Ruth Solemos - chemical engineer,research and development department, came from Madrid, Spain to spend Christmas here in the Philippines, took the time though its her last night before her flight to meet with us in Rona's house. Thank you for the Max Lucado book, i love it!Thank you for taking time off to meet with us in Orani.
Ronalyn Garcia-Coronel - IT Specialist,is 5 months pregnant but took the time to cook a special dinner for us, thank you for your generosity and hospitality and for hosting the get-together.
Lorena Vivar-Estella- administrative assistant, came with Geoff her husband and her 2 adorable kids, Paris and Rome who provided entertainment for the night. Thanks for your effort to come though we know that its tight and really busy,you squeezed in some time to be with us. Thank you for dropping us back at home, though the kids were really tired and sleepy.Thank you.

These 3 girls had been with me through the good and bad times. Though we are far apart,you are always in my heart. Ruth,thanks for seeing to it that we meet once a year,its great sharing stories with you,laughing and sharing thoughts with each other, Im greatful and I thank God I get to keep you three. I love you all.
